Why Mobility Training & NOT Just Flexibility Training

Everyone from elite athletes to everyday people who sit in the office for hours needs mobility training. Having flexibility alone does not mean you will have better mobility. And stretching alone does not grant you more mobility.

In fact, having too much flexibility increases risk of injuries. Why? Having no or poor control over the excessive range of movement means you are very likely to falter at the excessive range which means potential injuries.

And this is where mobility training comes in and help you not only gain control of the extra range but also allowed you to gain more body control. More body control means you have less risk of injuries. Having more body control certainly means more body awareness and will help your training and make you a better mover. And if you do not have the flexibility to start with, mobility training is going to help you improve flexibility.

Not only is he an experienced trainer who holds a Exercise & Health Science degree from UWA, he has learnt several schools of thoughts on mobility. He also practices mobility training and trained many people from different walks of life that have found the positive impact of his mobility training such as waking up with no stiff back and performing better in sports. Most importantly, he is very meticulous in his coaching and understand everyone is not the same and needs to start at different entry point to make the best gain.

  • FEE: $35 AUD (one-off) or $120 AUD (for 4 classes)
